Third Party Events
The Box Moor Trust will consider requests to hold third party events on its land.
We are committed to making best use of its land and facilities for the benefit and enjoyment of everyone within Hemel Hempstead and Bovingdon (the “area of benefit”). We are also committed to doing all that we can, within reason, to ensure the health, safety and well-being of everyone who uses and enjoys the land that we own. With this in mind, we expect all users and event organisers to comply with bye laws and all other legislation affecting use of Trust land.
Applications for use of Box Moor Trust land for third party events will be considered and assessed on their individual merits. We rely on users to ensure that they have gained any relevant permissions and given any necessary notifications to local authorities including, if necessary, the police and other emergency services.
Full guidance notes on the licence application procedure are available to download below, together with the third party events licence application form. Also available is a risk assessment template, which may be of help to you when considering the potential risks associated with your event.
