Volunteers and Friends

Volunteers from various local groups have been responsible for some fantastic work over the years on the Box Moor Trust land. We are keen to maintain these links but also wish to expand our own volunteer base.
Opportunities include:

  • Conservation
  • giving guided walks
  • talks
  • archiving,
  • wildlife surveys
  • administration
  • help with the education programmes
  • and much more

Whether you have an hour a week to spare or a couple of days, we would love to hear from you. Email admin@boxmoortrust.org.uk to arrange a time when you can come in to meet us.

The ‘Friends of the Box Moor Trust’ has been established to inform people about The Box Moor Trust and its lands.

Whilst the elected Trustees will continue to manage the Trust lands, the ‘Friends’ are kept regularly informed about the Trust’s work by receiving quarterly distributions of articles and newsletters.

To become a Friend just contact the Trust or download the form attached below and return the completed form to the Trust at our address.
