Box Moor Trust Annual Public Meeting

It will be no surprise to any of you that we were unable to hold our annual public meeting in April. The meeting is a requirement of our Charity Scheme, though, to ensure you know that the Trust is well run and transparent. Trustees take their responsibilities seriously and, pandemic or not, we have to consider how to do this at the earliest realistic opportunity. Clearly this depends on Government instructions and our concern not to endanger the health of our beneficiaries.

We could consider a form of on line meeting similar to that used in the House  of Commons but we would prefer some form of direct interaction.  With summer approaching, it might be possible to do something completely different and hold a meeting outdoors at Westbrook Hay. By the time restrictions are partially lifted – this could even include a guided ramble prior to the meeting subject to good social distancing, of course. We will arrange the meeting as soon as we feel it can be carried out in a totally safe manner. Please watch for news on Facebook and our website.

Clearly this could be a little way off yet so, for now, if you wish to see our annual report for the last financial year, or if you have any questions please contact us at
