Peter was elected as a Trustee in 2005, having worked for 5 years previously as an education and conservation volunteer. He learned to love the natural world in a farming setting. His professional life was spent in local government in public health, responsible for environmental protection, liaison with related bodies and provision of services.
His focus today is to see the Trust demonstrating best practice in Environmental Stewardship, protecting and promoting our valuable shared natural asset. Priorities include encouraging understanding of what the estate offers whilst making sure that the Trust maintains a sound financial base.
