Types of Volunteering

There are a host of different ways to get involved at the Box Moor Trust. Sign up forms are available at the bottom of the page.

Volunteer Role Profiles

Volunteers work alongside Box Moor Trust staff in almost all aspects of managing the estate, such as working with the livestock used to graze the meadows, carrying out habitat management work such as removing scrub, or assisting with running community engagement sessions such as guided walks and school visits. Estate Volunteers

Our estate volunteers support the Estates Team in managing the Box Moor Trust estate by carrying out practical work in a range of different habitats.

Wildlife Survey Volunteer

Support the Ecology Ranger in carrying out surveys on a range of species. Wildlife Surveys are vital to our work managing the habitats of the estate as they evaluate how well we are doing or highlight areas we may need to change or improve our management plans.
