Leave Behind a Legacy

From moors, woodlands and meadows to sites of special scientific interest, the Box Moor Trust looks after nearly 500 acres of land in Hemel Hempstead and Bovingdon.

The land we look after is important to many people and leaving the Box Moor Trust a gift in your will helps to enable us to continue to provide the care and maintenance of the green spaces that are special to you.

Ways we can use your gift

There are a host of different ways in which we can utilise a gift granted to us in a will. There
are two main types of gifts, unspecified and specified.

Unspecified Gift

An unspecified gift enables us to use the funds where the need is greatest at the time. These gifts also enable us to act quickly in the event of a rare opportunity or emergency. Such a gift is invaluable to the Box Moor Trust and can play a large part in allowing us to carry out the work we do.

Specified Gift

A specified gift is a donation that is tied to a particular location or activity. For example, if you are particularly fond of the Gadespring Cressbeds, you could specify in your will that you would like your gift to be used solely at this site. Likewise, if your interests lie in supporting biodiversity and wildlife, you could specify that your gift is used in those areas.
