Our Values and People

Values

The Box Moor Trust is a registered charity dedicated to enriching our community, protecting nature, and preserving local heritage. We proudly manage nearly 500 acres of grazing and amenity land across Bovingdon and Hemel Hempstead, ensuring these cherished spaces remain accessible, sustainable, and vibrant for generations to come.

Enrich Community. Protect Nature. Preserve Heritage.

To bring these values to life, the Box Moor Trust is guided by the principles of inclusivity, sustainability, and integrity. We believe that everyone should feel welcome and connected to the land, which is why we actively engage with our local community through environmental awareness activities and events, volunteering opportunities, and accessible green spaces. Our commitment to sustainability ensures that the natural environment is protected and nurtured for future generations, while integrity underpins everything we do—from transparent decision-making to responsible land management.
