Biography

Member of the Finance & Environmental Awareness and Nature Recovery Committees

Elected as Trustee: April 1995

David is a retired accountant and Hemel Hempstead local resident since 1954. “It has been a huge privilege to be Chairman of the Box Moor Trust Board for the last 14 years.”

I have much experience of liaising with local councils, other charities, public utilities and government agencies towards joint community aims.

Being passionate about protecting Flora and Fauna, and introducing all ages to the wonders of the countryside, I am proud that the Trust has doubled its wildlife friendly landholding in recent years.

The biggest challenge for the Trust today is to secure sustainable income. Our small staff team, our large band of special volunteers and our whole community need that to happen so that our good work can continue.
